Huge Blog update

It has been a long time since I last updated but for all those who complain with the exception of Sarah, I don't see any blogs from anyone else. So no complaining allowed.  This is me and Bill on the square in Marietta. Our favorite hang out.  Lauren took some nice pictures of which this is one.
We planted our first tree here in our new place. It is an October Glory Red Maple. It is supposed to be really pretty in the fall and grow rather fast. I hope so anyway.  It took forever to dig the hole. We had to use a pick axe.
Planted at last. Can't wait til spring to see how it looks. The nursery guarantees it forever so if it won't grow we will just get another one.
 Playing in the dirt.
We also planted 4 blueberry bushes out behind the garage. They also needed the pick axe to dig the holes for. At least we have had good rain so I haven't had to pull out the hose.
Our first Christmas in Marietta. We didn't decorate one lick last year since we were in the throws of finishing the house and making the move. We went all out this year and it was so nice to put a real tree up. Fit just perfect in our corner. First year we didn't get a Douglas Fir also. Had to go with a Frazer since they didn't have the other. I like it even if it took a  little convincing for Bill.
I love my carolers. And yes Sarah, you can have them when I die. (you may have to fight for them)
 Our decorated side table
My skating family on the dining room table. I love these. They look so fun here.
 The fireplace all decked out.
I put the manger on the civil war table. Fit just perfect.
We went to a car show in November to Chattanooga where we stayed the night and had a really nice weekend. This is was taken about an hour before I nearly passed out. Go figure. Don't I look good here? Never thought a fainting spell was coming.
 Bill's car at the show.
This is down my the river in Chattanooga. They were having major rowing event there that weekend. It was a beautiful day.
We love going up to Look Out mountain and watch the hang gliders. I wish I had the nerve to do this. It looks so amazing.
 Papa and little Grayson
 Bath time for Grayson
In November we went to Anna and Strattons for Grayson's blessing. We took this picture in their backyard after church.
Strattons parents were there too. Bob and Catherine were a lot of fun and we enjoyed seeing them again.

 Our little NC family

At Thanksgiving the Allen's and Wade's came to us. No turkey, just a lot of turkeys!
Below, Grayson, Will and Tyler

Anna and Grayson. Grayson is over 17 pounds as of Dec 2012 and only 3 months old. Yesh!

So that's it. Just thought you all might enjoy a few pictures.  Til next time.

3 guys and a baby

We got to keep the Nagel boys one day and it just so happened that Bill had to put some stuff up in the attack. You have to have a ladder for this ordeal but there is lots of space up there and the boys couldn't resist taking a peak and helping Papa.
Here is the new fake vent cover for the outside of the house we finally got up. I designed it and Bill did the hard part cutting it out, painting it, and installing it.  I did hold the ladder though and it was tougher then you might think cause I got bit up by mosquitos.(how in the heck to you spell that?)
This was the other side of the house. It was a bit smaller in size and you can only see it from the patio. They just finish off the little house nicely don't you think?
Now for the good stuff. Anna FINALLY going into labor.  Here is Adeline on the way to the birthing center.
A little blurry in more ways then one. Here's Anna (in labor) on the way too.
Here's the birthing room. Anna working through labor and Stratton and Adeline just hanging out. That is the tub Anna delivered in. And Adeline below checking it out.

Adeline liked watching the midwife fill it up. I think she wanted to jump in too.
I left out all the in between stuff and voila! Here is our strapping Grayson at 10 pounds 1 1/2 ounces. 21 1/2 inches long.  He won't be in new born sizes for but a few days to say the least.
Adeline got a new baby too. We called her baby Lucy. She just loved her.
One of the 1st pics of Adeline holding Grayson. I am not sure she knew what to make of him.
And that's proud Papa holding our # 10 gbaby.  I beat you Mom! (well I can't actually take much credit but who would have thunk it eh?)
Happy Birthday Grayson!!!  August 29, 2012   Welcome to our family!
