New Do for the Hiliger house.
For the benefit of you who have not seen Mike and Donna's new handy work, here is a picture of their gorgeous new chandelier. Notice also in this photo and the next the molding Mike did to the walls and ceiling. It looks so good and really completes the beautiful room. Just so you know Mike, Adam would have finished it in a day, but it's still beautiful even if you were a bit slooooowwwww.
When they added hardwoods to the kitchen and bath they upgraded to some in lay work which is wonderful. It really looks great and I know everyone is enjoying the makeover. Sorry I didn't take any photos of the new counters and sink but that will have to wait for Mike to finish the tiled backsplash. You will all be in walkers by the time he is done ha ha but it IS looking pretty great.
What is it? Yep, a phone booth. Not the step into type but rare none-the-less. I just had to take a picture for posterity. They have gone the way of LP records and 8 track tapes. What are those you ask? Never mind. Just enjoy the phone booth.
Grandma got these socks in the mail from Sarah with a dare to get them white again. The gauntlet has been thrown Grandma. Hope you bought stock in Clorox. Can't wait to see the after. Either they will be really white or they will have holes in them from all the chemicals Gma tries. Stay tuned.

I am sooo glad it finally worked. The pictures are all great. Adeline is such a LITTLE cutie you could smuggle her into places in that bag. Mom is working on those socks. They are many shades lighter already but the holes from chemicals might not be too far off. I agree with your award presentation. Stratton truly deserves the first. I keep praying things improve for him in some manner or another. It took me quite a few looks to figure out what Adeline was laying in. I kept wanting to make it some kind of chair from a different angle and the uncertainty of direction of the pictures (not that I'm complaining, I'd take them completely upside down) gave it a little more of a challenge. Thanks again for all the pictures. Now if we can get ALL your children back to blogging that would be good. Love always.
ReplyDeletei DID Another try at cleaning the socks but they are just a little lighter. No holes yet but I have a few more ideas so I'll keep trying. I put them outside to see if that would help but the wind kept blowing them off the table so I gave up on that idea. They are a lot whiter though. Maybe grey. I'll keep trying. Love to all, Gram
