Utah

Well, my whirlwind trip to Utah for Jordan Brocks wedding has come to an end. Unfortunately I forgot my camera for the wedding but don't despair, Mary Marshall lent me hers and she will email me the pictures I took. You will just have to be patient for those. It was a beautiful wedding though and the pictures will be worth the wait. Otherwise I took a few of my escapades with Faith and Tom. They have put an offer in on this house out in the country. It has amazing views and seems just right for what the two of them are looking for. A bit far in the hinterland, dirt road and all but a fun adventure none the less and since Tom wants a few animals, the 3+ acres will be just the ticket.
The view was truly amazing and you really didn't want to leave the place. You can see all the way to Salt Lake in this picture.
The house sits high on a hill and has plenty of space and out buildings for their family gang and living. They are very excited so cross you fingers it all goes through.
Another view from the house.
We stopped in at Jasons house the day I left. They have a wonderful 3 acre oasis in the middle of a neighborhood. Really neat place.
I should make you all guess whats new. Ok, times up. It's the outdoor lights. There was only one little one we put up eons ago and since we did the rewire Bill thought one each side of the door would be nice. I agreed and we found these. At first we thought they might be a little big but turns out they were just right. Wouldn't you agree?
See, just right. I love them.
I got the new little rug I wanted for the Master bedroom to go with my newly reupholstered chair. I just love the splash of color. So happy! That's all folks!

  1. I'm not sure what to comment on first.... and ALL of this I knew nothing about!!

LOVE (hopefully) Faith and Tom's house! I hope they get it! Jason's place sounds fun too. I'll have to hear more about that.

Love the new lights (ok, you did tell me that)

  2. Well I agree with Sarah. So many neat things. I have always wanted a house on a hill surrounded by no one. That might be a little to remote for me what with the dirt road and all, but the views are fantastic. I just love how the house is looking. It has to be the cutest thing and the lights are perfect. I don't remember you saying anything about having the chair recovered. It also looks great. That is some funky piece of rug though, might keep you up at night but it does look good too. Can't wait to see it in person.
