My dear friend Cathy had a get together at her house for many of us to see our friend Lou and Gloria. They were visiting from Utah so several couples came over to say howdie. It was so nice to see them and others that we don't get to see very often, at least to chat much. So we enjoyed cookies and punch together and caught up on everyones news.
Here are the guests of honor, Lou and Gloria. It was so nice to see them again. They were looking great and I realized how much I missed them.
Jackie and Keith were among the group and since they are in a different Stake now it was great to sit and chat with them too.
Nancy and Gary are always fun to be with too.
Don't adjust your knobs yes even though this picture is on it's side ( I can't seem to get it to rotate so you will just have to crook your neck) Yes this is Bill making Chocolate chip cookies. He was very desperate and really missing his two daughters. He wants to have a bake off now that he is getting cocky.
So far so good.
Ta da. They even passed the taste test. He only needed a bit of help as he was using the 3/4 c measure instead of the 1 cup. I caught that one so no harm was inflicted on the cookies. We may have created a monster.

ReplyDeleteWell, I finally can make a comment. I tried before I left home, but couldn't for some reason do it from my desk top and this was already packed. Ann and I are on the way so get ready. We are in Zanesville, OH tonight. The trip Tomtom took us on was almost like your trip to the cornfield. Oh well, we got here and had a nice day in the Amish area. At least Bill is baking cookies and not looking for more car parts, a much more congenial occupation for us seniors. See you soon. Love always.
