At last the infastructure is nearly complete and we are about ready to do some things on the house that actually will look like progress. Bill is a whisker away from finishing the heating and air and would be done were it not for lacking one last piece of piping. So this week we started getting some of the fun things we have ordered for the house. The top picture is one of two undermount sinks for the master bath. It is cast iron and so pretty. Can't wait to get these in. The bottom picture is the vanity for the hall bath. It came with plain black knobs but I went to Hobby Lobby and got these cute white and black polka dot knobs instead. Isn't it just so fun. Ok, I know it is just a couple of knobs but when the last seven months have been nothing but plumbing, electric and hvac it's time to celebrate over the knobs. Next up is to have the hvac all hooked up and then some bulldozer work next week. In the mean time we have had to turn our dining room into a warehouse of sorts to start storing this stuff til we need it. We are expecting more things this week. We'll keep you posted.

ReplyDeleteMuch better to look at than wires and 2x4's Soon it will begin to take on your personality. Love the knobs. Only you would think polka dots. My detail eye would have maybe decided the black were boring but I'd have probably picked solid something. I need a little of that out of the box stuff. Do you think it's too late? Love always.
