No more plaster on the walls and ceilings here is a photo looking back at the front door from the dining area. The studs you see on the left once framed the kitchen corner but they are no longer there either. Notice the ceiling rafters so you can appreciate later photos. Also remember to look at these blogs backwards so you don't see the afters before the befores. Yesh, that was a mouthful. Those are the new windows that had yet to be installed.

Also looking up. The fireplace can be seen now though this is above the opening looking into the rafters.
Ah, now you see. You can see beyond the studs into the kitchen and back hall where some light is coming in. Take note of the fan. It was hotter then blazes in here especially when the workers where tearing out all the plaster. Yes, plaster, not sheetrock. This house was built in 1953.
