Had a new visitor a couple days ago. This very large raccoon came while Ggrandma was here visiting. Some dogs were running around in the area and he decided to climb a small tree for safety. He spent a long time up there waiting for the dogs to leave. Finally saw him get down only to climb up a bigger tree closer to the house. We were able to get pretty close to him for these photos. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous that her would jump out of the tree and scare me to death. Luckily he stayed put. It sure was fun seeing him so close though. We're getting a regular nature farm around here.
A raccoon??? WHAT??? That's crazy!! I don't think I've ever seen one alive, out in nature, they are usually road kill. That's cool that you got a picture!
